B. Read about Jane’s Friday morning. Complete the sentences with and, but, or, so,

‘On Friday morning I woke up late (1) because I had forgotten to set the alarm clock the night before. I jumped out
of bed (2) and got dressed quickly. I wanted to wash my hair, (3) but I didn’t have enough time to do that (4)
because have breakfast too. Big decision! Shall I wash my hair (5) or have breakfast? Breakfast won. I needed
some toast and coffee, (6) but unfortunately, the toaster burnt the bread, (7) and I just drank the coffee.
