Different revolt of the Philippine History

1. Lakandula Revolt
- It was 1574 in Tondo, Navotas. It is the failure of Gov. Lavezares to fulfill Legazpiz’s
promise to Lakandula.
2. Pampanga Revolt
- It was 1585 in Pampanga. The abuses of Spanish Encomienderos. A women betrayed the
revolt.
3. Todo Revolt
- It was 1587 to 1588 in Tondo, Cuyo, Calamians. The leaders desire for independence but
they were failed because the plot was discovered and they were executed.
4. Cagayan-Ilocos Revolt
- It was 1589 in Cagayan and Ilocos. This was the refusal to pay tributes and tyranny of
tributes collectors. It was easily suppressed.
5. Magalat Revolt
- It was 1596 in Cagayan. The abuses of tribute collectors. Magalat was the leader and
killed by assassins.
6. Igorot Revolt
- It was 1601 in Norther Luzon, the desire of religious toleration.
7. Irrayas Revolt
- It was 1621 in Cagayan Valley. The Oppression of the Indios by the Spanish Official.
8. Tamblot Revolt
- It was 1621 to 1622 in Bohol. It was a desire to abandon Christianity and return to old
religious faith. Suppressed by Spaniards and Cebuanos.
9. Bankaw Revolt
- It was 1621 in Leyte. It was a desire for religious toleration. Bankaw Pagali was the
leader and it was also failed.
10. Cagayan Revolt
- It was 1625, 1627 and 1639 in Cagayan. It was a desire for independence and
punishment of a women whom displeases certain. It was failed because the leaders
were pardoned
