This investigation and exploration into the significance of the humanities is carried out
through the medium of an animated short film that brings together animation artists from across
the world with specialists from the field of humanities. Despite the fact that they hold the key to
sustaining humankind across all periods and remembering who we are, the relevance of the
humanities is sometimes underestimated. This is despite the fact that the humanities possess the
key. Not to mention the fact that they play a major role in the ongoing disaster that affects the
whole world.

The character is transported from a world of utter emptiness and nihilism into realities that
they are incapable of imagining but which are nonetheless extraordinary. Archaeology,
anthropology, history, religion, literature, art, and music are just some of the fields that fall under
the umbrella of the humanities. The fictional worlds that lie in wait for her have an odd sense of
familiarity to them, despite the fact that they appear to be made up.
