Changing Embossers from LowCo to HighCo Card Encoding

On Printer:

Go to Configuration -> Data Format

Set printer data format to Printer Driver.

On PC used for configuration:

Download appropriate driver and diagnostic software from datacard.com and install.

** Printer driver software should be install before connecting printer USB cable.

Connect Printer using USB cable.

Open Diagnostic program.

Go to User Properties -> Advanced User

When prompted for a password enter: 926918

Select Magnetic Stripe from options.

Go to configuration.

Change Coercivity to High 150 mA

** DO NOT CHANGE OTHER SETTINGS

Click Apply, then Save.

Disconnect USB cable.

On Printer:

Go to Configuration -> Data Format

Set printer data format to Open Card format.
