THE UNCHANGEABLE EVENTS

“…..there was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me.

Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But He said to me,
‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’
Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weakness, so that Christ’s
power may rest on me”
(2 Corinthians 12:7-9).
As we learn from the life of Paul, a Christian’s life comes from Christ Himself.
However, this does not mean that you will not face hard times. You will encounter
some unchangeable events that no amount of prayer or fasting can change. How
do you handle yours? If you knew that the more hard times you experience, the
better equipped you became would be, then you would not murmur or rebel
during your unchangeable events. Rather, you would trust in Christ in every trial.
