1. Choose any three elements of culture that impact the tourism professional.
First is Arts, Second is Beliefs and Values, Third is Social Organization.

2. Identify a specific application of this element locally and internationally based on

your experience.
The arts for me have a big part in my life as way back in 2016 I do Fashion
school which focused on designing dresses and the first session was fashion
drawing and putting techniques of how you will execute you’re your design
creatively. I learned that arts need passion, patience, and determination to see
the final result. Second is Beliefs and values, I've been to Australia and I’ve seen
the difference between the Philippines and Australia, one of our beliefs is saying
“opo” to the older people and showing respect most humbly and when we are
eating we asked the person to eat as well. Most of their beliefs and values are
very opposite and I find it so difficult to adopt and to do. As I do grow up in a
family that values the essence of being a Filipino and give importance to our
culture. The third is a social organization, this is the culture that I like as I interact
with other people and show them the hospitality that I do know, and having a
social in an organization helps me to grow as an individual and gives me
confidence. Especially this will help me to boost myself and to be more
knowledgeable and with that, I can spread the learnings that I've learned to
others.

3. What is the purpose why we need to study multicultural diversity in workplace for
the tourism and hospitality students?
The purpose is to accept, adopt and put in the heart of studying multicultural
diversity, why? As learning a multicultural subject will teach me to appreciate the unique
culture to promote the development of cultural responsibility and responsiveness and to
adopt all the facilitate acquisition of the attitudes, skills, and knowledge to function in
various cultures. To lessen the discrimination in the world that we are facing right now,
especially in the workplace needs this multicultural diversity will help me as tourism
management to understand the process and how I can apply it to myself and use it in
the future workplace. It’s very beneficial for us tourism to study Multicultural Diversity.
