MULTICULTURAL DIVERSITY IN WORKPLACE

QUESTIONS:
1. Why were women earlier limited to household chores? Elaborate your answer.
-In our modern age and life things gets thought and women are more freely to work on
their own and can have a life now. Over to the generation from the past as the women are
usually just at home. Depending on how far in the past you wish to travel. Women were
once viewed as property rather than as human beings. They were given in marriage in a
manner similar to purchasing a horse. Her every move was under the authority of men,
and assaults against unappealing women were common. a behavior that many modern
men still engage in because their minds have not developed.
Women were still treated as servants in the families where they were raised by their
brothers and still had no place in the world of men as time went on. Further, because
women were supposed to marry and raise children as their futures, they did not receive a
good education.

2. Does feminism exist in the tourism industry? Explain your answer.

In does exist as men are not equally have the same salary as according to my research
men’s before have the biggest salary than men as they said men are usually does all the
work. But in our modernization men and woman are equally have the wage of the salary
as we are all human that should be treated equally and not to be inequality. I’ve had this
knowledge as in our thesis we do research all about the equality of the gender which
should be treated right and same benefits. As having a right treatment will motivate each
and every worker to do their jobs and having a mindset that I should work precisely as I
do get the right pay. This is very relevant to know as we tourism student have the passion
and we do love to be treated equally.
