Guidelines for Case Analysis
Case Analysis Basic Structure
The whole paper should not exceed four pages (including the cover page).
You should structure your analysis in the following manner:
1. A cover page with your group name, the case name, the date, the course
name
2. A 3-page maximum analysis that discusses the key strategic issue,
alternatives, recommendation and an implementation/action plan.
3. Technically business case analyses do not require research but if the
group did do so then additional points would be given.

I. Key Strategic Issue/Problem Identification Section (1-5 sentences)
II. Alternatives Section to address the key issue (Minimum of three
alternatives)

There would be three tables because there would be three alternatives.

III. Recommendation section – Select one alternative and explain why you
chose that alternative. What were your criteria for selection?
IV. Implementation/Action Plan – How would your recommendation be
implemented? Break down the steps needed in order to accomplish your
recommendation.
