I just noticed something this morning rather indicative of the times?
Some months ago I posted a composite of a few detailed comments
that I and a few other people posted on a site in Asia: I posted this to
demonstrate that people can work towards mutual understanding
from very different positions.

Now, the interesting thing is that I posted these

comments anonymously except for my comments, for
privacy reasons. The whole purpose of posting this
composite and link to the article was to demonstrate how
people with very opposing views - collectivist/atheist vs
Independent-minded Conservative/Spiritual and we
discussed religion. I used it as an example of people
debating in a civilised manner (so did the person on the
other side of the world I was debating with). Obviously
the link would provide access to the article so anyone
that wanted to could read the comments there. During
this discussion - went on for a few days - someone came
online, I presume a CBC enforcer that CBC "fact-check"
said the article was fake news. I politely rebuked the
comment with ':)'. I think the CBC Propaganda Ministry didn't
approve: conversation illustrating actual debate and potential mutual
understanding - for some reason these are removed from the site-
Marxists prefer constant class antagonisms and tensions, not debate.
Was the CBC “fact checker” a factor in the comments being
removed? The article the CBC fact-checker called fake news is still
there. From what I see the remaining comments express no actual
debate, only isolated comments although I only glanced this
morning.

Anyone think this virus thingy isn't political?
