I am writing to express my sincere interest in applying for a Master's Degree in the Public
Administration Department at your university. I   r e c e n t l y   g r a d u a t e d f r o m   t h e
Faculty of Letters of the Babe-Boylan University, Applied Modern

 Languages Department (English-German). In this department the main subjects are related to
translations (both written and oral translations) from Romanian into the English
and/or German. I also studied the basic principles of subject like:
Commercial Correspondence, Commercial Law and Politics, Economics, Public Relations
and European Institutions. In these courses I learned how to communicate in
the business world, using proper language and vocabulary. I also got knowledge of how the Euro
pean political system works and the way it affects us as a nation, directly. For my graduation
thesis (entitled “How to Advertise Your Business to the Top?”) I wrote about the process of
promoting a new-formed company and the most commonly used methods of
advertising. While researching information for my thesis, I discovered the importance of
good managerial and organizational skills and the true value of the public opinion. Among these
areas of study, my uttermost interest in Public Relations and Commercial Correspondence has
attracted me into pursuing in the field of Public Administration. Another motive for my
application is the fact that this particular master program is integrally in the English language. I
