RE: Game Operations (Digital Labs) Intern

Dear Recruiting Manager,

I was excited to find that Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment had an opening for the Game Operations
Intern position. I am very familiar with User Interface and Experience design and I am confident that I
would be the perfect candidate for this position. I have a good understanding of developing high-quality
and well-architected software from building web applications for companies as well as programming my
own software applications. I am currently completing an Advanced Diploma in Software Engineering
Development at Centennial College and I also hold a Diploma in Computer Programming from Seneca
College.

Through my experience working as a team in hackathons as well as producing software products for
companies; I have become acquainted with the skills needed to complete a project. This includes
familiarity with software engineering practices such as Scrum and Agile, developing programs in Java
and C#, using source code versioning systems such as Git as well as being open-minded to new ideas. I
have also built Youtube API applications in Java that utilize innovative design solutions such as dynamic
thumbnail loading and ease-of-use functionality. I have a passion for designing UI with my own
applications and I am inspired by the work of other designers to improve my craft

It would be my dream to work for the Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment. I am inspired by your work
in providing entertainment to your fans in sports; reaching millions all over the world. I am personally a
huge fan of the Maple Leafs and Raptors and grew up watching them as a child. I would love to work on
the technology that is used to provide engagement and interest to your users as an Intern. I admire
MLSE for its great workplace environment, cultural diversity and its focus on providing Canadians with
entertainment to cheer for.
