DISCUSSION :

Drying in low-temperature long-time (LTLT) which is ‘drying in

70 celcius for 48 hours’. While drying in high-temperature short-
time (HTST) which is ‘drying in 180 celcius in 1 hour’. There
have a diference between that two methods. Both methods can
affect seed depends on their on types of seeds. HTST method
is suitable for oily seed while LTLT method is suitable for
almost all species except for tree species that has volatile oil
content in its seeds which non-oily seed. Both methods has
same function which is to find the moisture of the seeds.

CONCLUSION :

In conclusion, the type of seed affects the time for the seed to
dry. For oily seed will take a long time to dry compare to non-
oily seed. Then we can determine the moisture content of that
seed.
