What is the significance of Sports to your course? Give examples if necessary. Minimum of 50
words.

 With my course AB Filipino, it is very important to know the important details about our
country, the Philippines. This includes the history and culture of our country. One
important part of Philippine’s culture is the sport. We have different sports here like
basketball, volleyball, billiards, bowling and of course boxing. We are very known in the
field of boxing because of Manny Pacquiao with 62 wins. Also, another famous athlete
in the field of billiard is Efren Bata Reyes with 70 major titles and we also have in the
field of bowling, Paeng Nepomuceno, who is a six-time bowling champion. This are just
examples of world champions in the field of sports and learning this will give be a huge
advantage in my course.
