This problem occurs mostly on active times, which means when the people are actively

working in jobs and going to school and University. There are specific hours when the
problem that Barranquilla has with public transportation is more reliable, those are: 6:30 to
7:00 in the morning, because is the time when people gets to work or school, 12:30 to 1:00
in the mid-day which is the time people have lunch or part-time jobs end, and 6:30 to 7:00
p.m. that is the time the majority of people get out from work and go to their houses.
Barranquilla doesn’t have a good transport organization and the fact that schools,
universities and works are accumulated in a specific place while houses are in another,
combined with the lack of routes in Barranquilla, makes problems like traffic jams, car
accidents and a lot of people struggling to get to their house because the buses and the
transmetro is full of people.
