1. Explain the relationship between the input devices, processor, and output devices.
Provide examples using components/devices.

Input devices are devices that are used to interface with a computer system or to enter
data and instructions into a computer. These devices translate input data and instructions into a
suitable binary form, such as ASCII, that the computer can understand. The processor then
accepts binary data as input, processes data according to those instructions. It's a logic machine.
So, its major duty is to run the program by retrieving instructions from RAM, evaluating them,
and executing them in order. Furthermore, output devices convey the computer's results to the
users. The computer's output is in the form of electric impulses, which are then transformed into
human intelligible and readable form.

In word processing software, for example, when you press the letter A on a keyboard, the
computer may interpret the input and show it as a letter A on the screen. In gaming software,
hitting the letter A may be a directional control, moving a character in the game to a different
location on the screen. A program is a set of instructions that defines a process.

2. Why is it important nowadays that we know how to use a computer?

It is necessary to know how to use a computer nowadays because it is very accurate, fast,
and can complete many tasks quickly. To complete these operations manually, much more time
is required. It can perform very large calculations in fractions of a second. Furthermore, it can
store a large amount of data.
