The Wheatstone bridge works on the principle of null

deflection, i.e. the ratio of their resistances are equal and

no current flows through the circuit. Under normal
conditions, the bridge is in an unbalanced condition where
current flows through the galvanometer. The bridge is
said to be in a balanced condition when no current flows
through the galvanometer. This condition can be achieved
by adjusting the known resistance and variable resistance.
If we change the resistance of any resistor then the current
will start flowing through the galvanometer and it will
show the amount of current flowing through it.
In this project the Wheatstone bridge have bulbs instead
of resistor and galvanometer. If the resistance is same in
R1, R2, R3 and R4 then the 5th bulb which is placed in
place of galvanometer will not glow. But if the resistance
is not same then the bulb will glow.
