The movie focuses on the concerns surrounding the healthcare system in the lower and
middle class families. It also touches on the less empathetic individuals in the hospital
administrations and the insurance companies. The couple gets little to no sympathy or help from
the attending physician and the hospital administrator. All of the stress causes him to snap and
hold a group of people at the hospital’s emergency room hostage. This movie also portrays
frustrating issues, which individuals who cannot afford health care go through. It also shows and
selfish ways that physicians handle medical attention towards less fortunate individuals. Allie
graves faces a four-year wait for kidney transplant that will save her life. In desperation, they
turn to james dolan who charges recipients exorbitant fees, while harvesting organs from needy
donors like maria (terrified maxican teenager, who’ll give up a kidney to help her family get
across the border. Allie catches a glimpse of maria the make shifts operating room they share
inside a downtown hotel. And while allie’s transplant is successful, she can’t stop thinking about
the young woman who save her life. But when the desperate young donor dies during the
botched surgery, allie’s heroic fight for justice is the only way she can repay her, even if that
means jeopardizing her own family’s future.

In conclusion, a woman undergoes an illegal organ transplant, only to discover that the
young girl who donated the kidney died during the operation. Determined to stop this heinous
activity, but torn by the moral dilemma of saving it, she fights against her reluctant husband, an
LAPD detective, to pull down the ring of criminals behind it.
