FIRST WEEK

Deep neck flexors

The subject performed craniocervical flexion
and then applied an anterior-posterior push
against the right hand of the therapist.

Four cycles for 6 repetitions of isometric

contractions for 10 seconds, and 60 second of
rest between cycles.

Deep neck extensors

The subject puts the forehead over his hands.
Next, the patient carried out a carniocervical
flexion and finally lifted his head (separating it
from his forehead).

Four cycles for 6 repetitions of isometric

contractions for 10 seconds, and 60 second of
rest between cycles.
SECOND WEEK

Deep neck flexors

The therapist placed his right hand between
the pallet and the patient’s occiput. The left
hand monitored the inactivity of superficial
muscles. The subject performed craniocervical
flexion and then applied an anterior-posterior
push against the right hand of the therapist.

Two cycles for 8 repetitions of isometric

contractions for 10 seconds, and 20 second of
rest between cycles.

Deep neck extensors

The subject puts the forehead over his hands.
Next, the patient carried out a carniocervical
flexion and finally lifted his head (separating it
from his forehead).

Two cycles for 8 repetitions of isometric

contractions for 10 seconds, and 20 second of
rest between cycles.
Sphinx
The subject lies prone with head turned to the
right and forearms on both sides of the body.
Next, flexion craniocervical is performed and
his head is lifted while situating it in a neutral
position of rotation. Finally a return to the
starting position, except the head turned to
the left.

Two cycles for 8 repetitions of isometric

contractions for 10 seconds, and 20 second of
rest between cycles.

Shoulder exercises
1. The subject lies prone, with outstretched
arm, shoulder elevation makes a cranial
followed by an approximation of the
shoulder blades and finally to flow.

8 repetitions of isometric contractions for 10

seconds, and 20 second before make the next
exercise.

2. The subject, sitting in front of a column,

using a theraband for a retracting
movement of blades.
(The subject tries unite shoulder blades)

8 repetitions of isometric contractions for 10

seconds.

Cervical retraction
with theraband
Theraband is placed in the patient’s occiput. The
subject begins in cervical neutral position and then
applies with his head an anterio-posterior push
(retraction).

Two cycles for 8 repetitions of isometric

contractions for 10 seconds, and 20 second of
rest between cycles.
Thrid week
Shoulder exercises
1. The subject lies prone, with outstretched
arm, shoulder elevation makes a cranial
followed by an approximation of the
shoulder blades and finally to flow.

Two cycles for 9 repetitions of isometric

contractions for 10 seconds, and 45 second
of rest between cycles.

2. The subject, sitting in front of a column,

using a theraband for a retracting
movement of blades.
(The subject tries unite shoulder blades)

Three cycles for 6 repetitions of isometric

contractions for 10 seconds, and 20 second of
rest between cycles.

Neural self-
movilization
During the time of the exercise, the subject’s
head was resting on hands, and these on a
Bobath ball.
Starting position: flexion craniocervical and
dorsal; ending position: extension of
craniocervical and dorsal.

The subject undertakes each positions

successively for 1 minutes and repeat eat for
three times.
35 seconds of rest between cycles.
Cervical retraction
with theraband
Theraband is placed in the patient’s occiput. The
subject begins in cervical neutral position and then
applies with his head an anterio-posterior push
(retraction).

contractions for 10 seconds, and 20 second of
rest.
