LIT ASSESMENT SUMARIA

1. Gilgamesh and epic

Gilgamesh was a great warrior, knowledgeable in everything, a god, a human. The

epic starts with Gilgamesh's praise, a two-thirds god and a third human, beautiful

king, builder, and smart; he was a great hero in ancient Mesopotamia, a mythologist,

and protagonist.

Epic in literature is a long narrative poem describing heroic deeds comprising of both

oral and written compositions. The word is also used to describe a novel and motion

picture.

2. Women status in literature in the last 600 years

Over the past 600years, the woman was perceived as a peasant and reliable. They

were held incompetent in that their view was considered incompetent. Literature at

this era was a purely men-dominated example; priest constructed hymns to praise

themselves. the ligature was commonly used to guide and control the society

example parable to explain a situation, and the man had this authority; thus, women

in this era was blocked from the art of literature

3. Why Enheduanna was taken seriously during her era

Enheduanne was the priestess, the Mesopotamian king's daughter, the high priest of

the goddess in, and moon god nanna. She managed the temple and all agricultural

activities surrounding the temple and all activities scheduled around the liturgical

4. What if EnHeduanna was a peasant girl.

During the Medieval Period, women were never given a chance to be heard. If

EnHeduanna were a peasant girl, society would not have given her the chance to be a

respected poet despite her determination and hard work. The stereotype of those

societies on women held no chance for a woman to express her taught as they were

perceived incompetent and incomplete.

Temple is a place set for spiritual and religious functions such as prayer and offering

of sacrifice.

The Sumerians believe in deities regarding all factors on nature and social nature.

They believe that words come to exist through a sequence of cosmic actions.

According to Sumerian Mumm(water), give birth to ki(earth), and An (sky) ki and

give birth to a son Enill who separated the earth and sky and claimed the sky. The

Sumerians believe in deities.

8. Reason learn from the use of poetry in the ancient period

Curious people in the past wrote poetry as a way of mentoring and educating

people. They used poetry to express their belief, faith, and stand in society. These

create a big reason the world today in that a leader should be intelligent, brave, and

mentor who expresses is ideas in an intelligent manner such as through poetry.

9. nature of religion

The religion of the era of EnHeduanna believed in deities, played on the natural

god for help. The gods were in natural phenomena such as the gods of sun,

moon water, and harvest.

10. Believe in the princess of god and goddess in the stars.

People believed in the superior creature's exitance in heaven who watched the humans

and protected them from natural calamities. The star was seen as the ancestors and gods

set up to watch and guide the living. Some identical stars were named to be gods and

goddess of the earth.
