For finding the client's ONU status in NMS

Step 1: Get the location and client’s username so that to know which OLT client's ONU belongs
(eg.gbhaisepati)
Step 2: Open unify
Step 3: Filter the domain according to the clients location and the OLT
Step 4: Search the username
Step 5: Get the information of slot/port/onu id/service port from Address Bar
Step 6: Open the NMS
Step 7: Open the OLT frame which client's ONU belongs too.
Step 8: Open the respective slot and port which was in unify of that respective client
Step 9: After the port is opened, status of all ONU of that port is seen with ONU ID, so search the ONU
ID.

Consideration--- while opening slot and the port, remember that the count starts from 0 not 1

Troubleshooting (Incase ONU status is Red)

Step 1: If the status of ONU in NMS is in green color, the link from OLT to Client's ONU is fine.
Step 2: If the status of ONU in NMS is in red color, that mean the link from OLT to client's ONU is either
broken (fiber break) or client himself had turned off the ONU
Step 3: Go to Running Info and Check the Last down cause. If it is "Dying Gasp" that mean link is fine
and ONU is turned off by themselves intentionally or accidently. But if it is "Losi", then there is fiber
breakage
Step 4: In case of Fiber breakage, inform or mail to ftth@subisu.net.np

Troubleshooting (Incase ONU status is Green and still internet not working)
Step 1: Check the subscription of the client in unify. If expired contact concerned team
Step 2: Right click on the ONU status in NMS and go to "Query ONT learning Mac Address".
Step 3: Click on "UNI port”, select "1" and click on "Query"
Step 4: If "Mac Address" is not displayed, that mean ONU is not connected to the Device (CPE)such as
router or laptop logically .In this case "LAN" light of ONU does not glow
Step 5: If "Mac Address" is displayed, then open DHCP to crosscheck the Mac Address whether bind
with the IP or not. IF not replace it or Bind it.
