How to fix a DNS Server Not Responding Error Normally

1 Open command prompt window by clicking on Run –>


cmd (run with administrator privilege)

2 netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt This will reset the ip


3 type netsh winsock reset. This command will create a
prompt to restart the computer, don’t restart now. This
will help reset winsock settings. Although resetting
winsock is not related to this error, this might be helpful
in fixing other issues which can lead to this error.
4 type ipconfig /flushdns This will help in flushing the
stored DNS cache.
5 Restart the computer and check if the issue is fixed.
How to start computer in safe mode with networking?

 Shut down the computer


 Turn it on. As soon as the screen displays, keep
tapping F8 key continuously on the keyboard
 Select “Safe Mode with Networking” (If you use USB
drive for internet connection, it won’t work as USB
drivers won’t get loaded in safe mode with
networking)
