GROUP 2 – TALK SHOW SCRIPT.

Title: Pro Talks with Atty. Trixy G.

Topic: Abortion, Pro-choice and Pro-Life.

Host: Jr Gonzales

Guests: Aisley, Hezekiah, Jasmine and Mark

Audience: Analie, Alexandra, Rainer, Archie and Eric John

We should start with nomination, restriction, turn-taking, topic control, and termination.

There's one person who will carry the sign or the wordings like “NOMINATION” restrictions etc. after
that person passes in front of the audience we will immediately start our conversation or do what the
signage is implying like if the sign of “TURN-TAKING” passes then we will proceed in acting for turn
taking.

 There will be a back ground sound for every part of our presentation and there will be a music operator in
charge.

TALK SHOW in the afternoon, this is PRO TALKS with Atty. Trixy G.

 Host: Introduction of guests: Let's all welcome the students of ISCP University, a round of applause
please.

“Turn-Taking”

 (The guests will introduce themselves one by one, after that we will begin the talking and discussion.)

Guest: (Introduce their names)

Host: Okay, thank you very much for introducing yourselves. Now that we already know you before we
start, I would like to say this before we start, the views and opinions expressed by the host do not reflect
that of the store and its management. furthermore, the views and opinions expressed by the guest do not
reflect that of the host, the show, the store and the network.

(MUSIC THAT INDICATES THAT THE TALKING WILL START)

Host: How can you differentiate Pro-life and Pro-choice?

Guest (Aisley): In my own perspective, Pro-life is what we called anti-abortion where in people believe
that human life is a precious gift from God and only he can take away our existence on the earth while
Pro-choice is where they proclaim that every woman has their rights to choose abortion as an option for
an unplanned pregnancy.

 Host: Oh, what a precise answer! (a round of applause) now that we already know what is the differences
of pro-choice and pro-life. I will ask you to do a debate here, one group will be pro-choice and the other
will be pro-life, the topic is ABORTION and you have 5mins to discuss it with your partner. timer starts
now,

•Background music• tickling of clocks (after 5mins.)

Host: Okay now, I will ask you to defend your perspectives in a professional way and I will be the one to
choose who will be the first speaker to talk.

Turn – Taking

Host: The first one to share their thoughts are the students from ISCP university. Let’s hear their insights
regarding on Pro-choice. Okay Guest 1 the stage is yours.

Pro-Choice

Guest 1: (Jasmine) I prefer Pro-life, for I believe that we need to live the life that is given by God because
the quality of life carries huge importance towards us. We all know that Killing is a huge sin, so we need
to stop abortion for our own sake.

 Host: justify the answer of your teammate speaker number 2.

Guest 1: (Aisley) I definitely agree on what she'd said, if ever the pregnancy is either planned or
unplanned we need both to take responsibility on what comes ahead since we all know that in the first
place we are the one to be blamed of what some believes and called mistake that we've done or the gift
we received.

Host: What an extravagant answer !!! now, we will proceed to the guest speaker number 2.

Audience (Analie): Why is it now a days teenager support legalizing of abortion?

Host: I’m sorry miss, but this talk show only allows guest to voice out their thoughts and opinions we
don’t allow audience to give their unsolicited opinions, I hope you understand.

Audience (Analie): Oh, I see thank you!

Host: A reminder to focus on your topic and don’t elaborate your answers too far.

Host: Okay now, let’s hear the side of FEU students. Let’s start with guest speaker Mark Saavedra.
Pro-Life

Guest 2: (Mark) Plenty of victims nowadays are experiencing being raped therefore, I chose Pro-choice.
Victims suffered from the agony of being sexualized and they are totally unprepared if ever a new life
was formed inside them. We all know that each of them should have the worth of a better life, so they
must have the rights to fight for themselves and for the unplanned pregnancy.

 Host: Okay, how can you support the answer of your teammate for our listeners to understand what is he
trying to imply guest speaker number 2?

Guest 2: (Hezekiah) He was totally right!! As far as I know, victims have to louder their voices and
accomplish their justice that they deserved.

 Host: Okay, very good!

Host: The number one talk show is back! so now, this is the time that I’m going to ask some questions to
our fellow audience.

QUESTIONS

1.) What do you choose to support, the pro-life or the pro-choice?

I’ll choose pro-choice because I don’t think there is any reason why a women should have to face
all the consequences from something she did not do alone.
2.) Do you support legalizing abortion?
Yes, I support abortion because now a days we’re facing a high level of poverty and if you can’t
support your future child to be born in this world just to suffer or face his or fate I’d rather choose
abortion than to let my future child suffer in poverty that’s why I support abortion.
3.) Which is right pro-choice or pro-life?
I believe that it depends upon their situation, if a person can raise a child then they can choose pro-
life, but if not then it’s their choice whether to abort the child or not.

 Host: Alright, we will not let this go too far to discuss, let’s give ourselves a round of applause for
showing a great debating skill in this afternoon debate session on this talk show.
