In a major breakthrough in the probe into alleged sale of plastic eggs in Odisha has turned
out to be false, revealed a report. The preliminary report made it clear that no plastic egg
has been sold in Bhubaneswar or anywhere in Odisha, rather the eggs available in the
market are original.

The egg samples were collected from 10 districts in the first phase. As per the report
submitted to the government, there is no sign of plastic eggs or fake eggs sold in Odisha.
