Activity #4: Ethical Dilemma (ANSWERS)

1. An Office Theft

➔ I will tell my co-worker the suspicions that I have and give him/her a chance to pay the money back. Why? Because I believe
that people can change. Besides, there might be a reason why he/she keeps doing what she did and whatever the reason
may be, I will try my very best to understand and give him/her another chance to change.

2. The Life Boat

➔ If it is a death and a life situation I would probably choose to live so, I will go with the young, strong people, with whom
I might have a better chance of survival. Helping others by that time might put my life at risk, so I will first make
sure that I can survive before I go and help them.

3. Hit and Run

➔ I will confess my crime. I wouldn’t want to spend the rest of my life knowing that I killed an innocent person.
Homeless or not, he is still a person that needs to have justice and rest in peace. Being a professional and
well-known person does not make my crime clean, even if nobody sees it I know it deep inside of my heart. So, I
will go to the police, confess my crime, and either face the consequences or prove that I didn’t do it intentionally.
