Function Ignition lock Standard &
Programmable

Ignition lock is a feature by which all doors will get locked, 20 seconds after
all the doors are closed and the ignition switch is turned on.

Function Ignition Unlock Standard &

Programmable

Ignition unlock is a feature by which all doors will get unlocked immediately
after the ignition switch is turned off.

Standard &
Function Siren chirp Programmable

Siren chirp are produced whenever vehicle is armed or disarmed. Siren

chirp can be programmed on or off as per requirement.
Function Passive arming Programmable

Passive arming is a feature by which the vehicle will get armed

automatically, 30 seconds after the ignition is turned off & a door is
opened and closed
Note : In this mode, the vehicle is not locked.

Caution :

This feature may not be preferred by many customers

If , in a signal, the customer turns off the ignition, co driver gets out & waits for
more than 30 seconds and then tries to crank the engine, the siren will trigger
and the starter will be deactivated.

The customer will have to deactivate the alarm with remote and then start the
vehicle.

Audio / Visual confirmation of operation

Arm : One chirp sound & One flash of indicators

( Five chirp sound & 2 flashes indicates that door / bonnet is open )
Function Passive locking Programmable

Passive locking is a feature by which the vehicle will get locked & armed
automatically , 30 seconds after the ignition is turned off & a door is
opened and closed

Caution :

This feature may not be preferred by many customers

If the customer gets out of the vehicle with the ignition key in the barrel , the
vehicle will get locked & armed in 30 seconds automatically, with the key &
remote inside the vehicle.

Audio / Visual confirmation of operation

Lock : One chirp sound & one flash of indicators

( Five chirp sound & 2 flashes indicates that door / bonnet is open )
Function Anti hijack mode Programmable

Anti hijack mode can be used to discourage a potential car-jacker from hijacking you
and your vehicle while driving. Siren and indicator light turns ‘ON’ when this mode is
triggered.

The opening of the car door triggers this feature when you are driving the vehicle or
ignition is ‘ON’. Siren will start after 20 seconds of the door trigger and will continue
to chirp for 20 seconds and after that it will continuously blow.

Under this condition, remote ceases to function and emergency disarm code need to
be entered to come out of anti- hijack mode.

Before the continuous blow of siren, one can turn ‘OFF’ the trigger by pressing the
valet switch once and can drive.

Caution :

The feature may be activated only on the insistance of the customers, where they
feel that, it is very helpful for them to get out of the hijack attempts and customer
should be educated on EMERGENCY DISARM procedure.
Function Two stage shock sensor Programmable

This feature provides the warning against possible intrusion into the vehicle in
armed condition. Incase of intrusion attempt or a shock , the shock sensor senses it
& triggers the alarm giving warning to the user.

Sensitivity of the sensor against shock can be adjusted by a setting screw (refer the
photograph). To adjust the sensitivity , first the feature has to be enabled using the
programming. Once the feature is enabled , the security system module has to be
accessed by opening the centre console . Adjustments have to be done to the screw
to get the desired sensitivity.

The system will be highly sensitive to the shock if position of the screw is at
maximum (Turn clockwise) and is less sensitive if the position is at minimum (Turn
anti-clockwise).

Sensitivity decreases Sensitivity increases

If turned anti clockwise If turned clockwise

Report Diagnostic reports

Diagnostic reports indicate details of intrusion (if any) happened in the

armed vehicle, in your absence

Reports are read by looking at the flashing rate of the security system LED

When unlocking a vehicle with remote, if you hear four chirp sound, it indicates that
the vehicle has been intruded.
