What taxes do I need to pay

The taxes paid by companies in Mexico are intended to sustain different public
expenses and make the economy more efficient. In addition, they serve to cover
collective satisfactions such as public education, security, programs and projects to
support social and economic development, among others.

The taxes that we must pay from our company are the following: Value Added Tax
(VAT) Income Tax (ISR) Special Tax on Production and Services (IEPS)

18. What kind of insurance do I need?

The insurance that is contracted for cafeterias is normally of two types: commercial
insurance and general civil liability insurance to cover them in the event of any
eventuality and claim as a result of error or negligence.
Commercial insurance for cafeterias has as its fundamental objective, to protect the
premises (the continent) and the furniture (the content), and also to protect the civil
liability of the premises itself for damages to third parties that may be caused by
these guarantees, the responsibility civil liability arising from the hotel and restaurant
business and legal defense against possible claims.
The general civil liability insurance for cafeterias offers other coverage such as: legal
or criminal defense against claims, employer civil liability (covers an accident of a
worker), subsidiary civil liability (our legal system establishes it in favor of the
creditor.

19. How will I manage my business?

5 main points in the administration of our business:
1. Control of operations: where the main ones are sales, purchases, cash flows,
accounting and consumer trends.
2. Managing people: Both customers and employees are what make the
cafeteria work, without customers you cannot sell and without employees
there is no sales process.
3. Improve procedures: Procedures are understood as the steps to be carried
out to develop an activity. In the case of sales, for example, there is a
procedure that requires looking for prospects, then attending to the prospect,
following up, making the sale and finally after-sales service. Also develop
procedures for activities that are repetitive.
4. Perform tests: Know exactly the value of the business, and this is done
through tests. This refers to knowing what is in demand, the characteristics of
the product, how they want it, at what price, etc. For this you need to do some
research on the coffee business.
5. Keep learning: It may not seem important, but it does affect and is reflected in
how the business is managed. Not knowing the potential solutions to the
problems you face or will face makes you vulnerable to failure.

20. How will I advertise my business?

● Use advertising and promotions at the point of sale: A good strategy for the
consumer to choose the establishment is the development of the brand and
advertising in our premises. Place signs that can be seen and give visibility to
our brand inside and outside the facilities.
● Promote the business through social networks such as Instagram, Facebook,
Twitter, etc.
● Organize events inside the cafeteria: The organization of events can give the
business great visibility. The point is to increase sales. A coffee shop, live
performance, or other "open mic" event that gives a voice to high-potential
artists can be an excuse to attract a lot of people to the venue.
● Gift to our customers: Nobody says no to something for free and whatever it is
for the client, you are going to make their day and you are going to make
them feel special.
