Listen and Read
A great way for students to improve their pronunciation is to listen to a text and notice the way the words
are pronounced rather than just listening for meaning. You can ask your students to watch and read some
of the stories several times and to comment on the words they learned to pronounce.

Listen to repeating speeches

Listening to repeating speeches or shadowing means finding a short audio or clip that you like, maybe, 30
seconds long and listen to it and try to imitate the artist or the speaker. Sound or pronunciation is not only
the important part of being good at speaking but also the pause, breaths, the words to emphasize or give
special attention to and intonation or the up and down movement of your voice as you speak. You can ask
your student to look for an audio or clip that inspire them and try imitating that clip or audio and record it.

Use tongue twisters

Finally, tongue twisters can be great fun to check out how well students can pronounce words
and sounds. Tongue twister are a great way to practice and improve pronunciation and fluency. It
can also help us to improve accent by using alliteration. Being able to work out a particular
sound pattern with tongue twister helps not only with perfecting the sound of consonant, but also
with being able to speak the language quickly and clearly.
