Should primary students possess a mobile phone

Technology is getting better and more advanced. Mobile phones are commonly used
nowadays by all ages for their daily usages like entertainment and communications. So, should
primary students possess a mobile phone? In our opinions, primary students should possess a
mobile phone.

Firstly, mobile phones can be a convenient means of communication to reach people. For
instance, if the parents encounter emergency situations with the primary students like getting
lost with them or even in normal daily situations like reminding the students about something,
the parents can call the students easily through their mobile phones. Therefore, with the help of
the mobile phone, primary students can easily communicate with someone and search for help
if needed immediately.

Furthermore, primary students can gain extra knowledge from mobile phones with the help of
online platforms . For example, the primary students can easily access to different learning
platforms like dr.pcfamily and e-libraries, these platforms can provide them with learning
materials and students would be able to read or even study these materials to help expand their
horizons and knowledge.

However, many people oppose our viewpoint because they believe that primary students will
not be able to control themselves from using their phones and will be addicted to them. Yet, we
think this problem can be solved by setting restrictions for their usages of their phones.
Nevertheless, phones can serve as a means of relaxation. In particular, after primary students
have finished their work such as studying and doing homework, parents can reward them by
letting them use their phones to relax by watching videos on YouTube, playing some online
games like roblox, within a certain period of time. Not only can this provide relaxation to the
students from the entertainment , but also can improve their self-control from attractions.

In conclusion, we believe that primary students should own a phone sim w phones provide
entertainment through different apps as relaxation, a variety of information can also be gained
with the help of phones through online. Lastly, it would be easier for primary students to contact
people they want.
