How do you think, Therapeutic Communication is helping Patient’s?

I’ve been an NA for about 1 year today. A lot of my patient just can’t decide specially if it comes
to the prices of the laboratories and why is it so important. So using therapeutic communication, it can
help the patient to decide, and also it will enlightened them like for example: I have this patient 1/M
with a fever, a Temp. 40. The doctor requested a CBC, PC, UA. But the parents are too sensitive about
the prices, so they just wanted a Doctor’s prescription. So I gave an information of how important these
Lab’s are. If they will deferred it, they’re child will be risk for Seizure or Dehydration. Giving information
in therapeutic way is very important. For a lot of patient has no knowledge about that all they want is
doctor’s prescription but it is better to give a prescription if there’s a baseline.
