During the summer, you will be reading Sean Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective
Teens. As you read, complete the following activities:

• Chapter Summary Sheet

• “Baby Steps” at the end of EACH chapter/habit
• “The Great Discovery” on pages 86–89.
• An original mission statement written for yourself.

All assignments must be typed according to the following guidelines:

• 12-pt. Times New Roman font
• Double spaced
• Black ink

Other guidelines:
• All assignments must be submitted in a pronged folder.
• All questions to which you are responding must be typed. If the baby
step is a task, complete the task on your honor. However, you must
include a written description of how you completed the task and
include a personal reflection.
• All responses must be written in complete sentences.

Your folder with all of the completed work from this book is due on the first
day of school in August.
