Keep practicing tying shoes at
home! After students return
from holiday break, in 2023, I will
no longer tie shoes.
When working with your child on
reading, rather than having them
guess using pictures or clues,
encourage your child to sound
out the words.

Reminders
Maker Mats are due at the end of
each month (optional). There is no
need to send your child’s ‘Maker’
creations in with the maker mat,
keep them at home for him/her to
enjoy. Just initial the 3 boxes your
child completed. You can always
send me pictures if your child
wants to share. ☺
Purple homework folders are due
every Thursday. Always include
the completed reading and math
homework, as well as the small
Decodable Reader book.
Library books are due every
Friday!
We have snack each morning. Many
students are hungry mid-morning
and I am out of snacks to give.
