Effectiveness of Social Media in the growth of Online Business

The Philippines is one of the most affected countries due to the spread of

Covid19, because of the dangerous effects of Covid19 and various quarantine

measure imposed by the Philippine government many establishments or

business are forced to close. Social media on some businesses, both brings

positive and negative impact. It immensely affects how business discovers and

speaks with their customer. Social media platform are turning into the

fundamental sources for individuals to become familiar with business. Social

media in fact help to spread the news about your business. With the

appearance of intelligent and social media, the examples, job, and effect of

verbal exchange have developed. Because of which new online networks are

formed. Such changes influenced the manners in which businesses can use the

force of verbal exchange for advertising purposes. This study aims to determine

the effectiveness of social media in the growth of online business. The

researcher uses a quantitative type of research method using descriptive

statistics. To be able to explain and analyze the data gathered properly the

researcher uses the analysis of variance or ANOVA and the regression

independent and dependent variable. According to the result of the study, the

respondents agree that social media platform is an effective tool in the growth

of online business. Adapting some type of showcasing on the web through

online media is a critical hub for all businesses, particularly in an industry where

drifts continually change.

dependent variable and in Table 2 it shows the calculated data of the research
