How to record a voice note with a mobile device and access

the generated file through a PC?

In Android devices
1. Record your voice note by using your built-in voice recorder (commonly called “voice

recorder”)

2. Set a descriptive name to the voice note.

3. Connect your mobile device to your PC and access its internal storage.

4. You should find your voice note within the internal storage of your device, in a folder

typically named as “Voice recorder”. If a folder with that name does not exist, simply

search for a file with the name specified in step 2.

5. Attach the file to the application.

In iOS devices
1. Record your voice note by using your built-in voice recorder (commonly called “voice

memos”)

2. Set a descriptive name to the voice note.

3. Connect your mobile device to your PC and access it through iTunes.

a) Open iTunes
b) Click on the icon of your device
c) Synchronize your files by clicking on “Sync”
d) Once synchronizing is done click on “Done”
e) At the bottom of the left panel click on “Voice Memos” under “Music playlists”.
f) Now you should see all your voice notes listed on the right panel.
g) Right click on the voice note of your choosing and select “Show in windows
explorer”.
h) Attach this file to the application.

P.S. To access the files of your IOS device from a PC, you need to have ITunes installed on your
computer first.
