Boho Style Crochet Coaster Pattern

MEASUREMENTS

Approximately 4-1/2” without fringe.

Approximately 6″ with fringe.

You can make this pattern as big or small as you want simply by either increasing or
decreasing the number of rows or trimming the fringe to the desired length.

COASTER INSTRUCTIONS

This Boho Style Crochet Coaster Pattern is worked in rounds. Beginning ch 1 does not
count as a stitch throughout the pattern.

FOUNDATION CHAIN: With size K crochet hook and two strands of yarn held
together, form a Magic Loop and chain 1.
Round 1: 7 sc sts in the magic loop just formed; sl st to beginning sc st. (Be sure to
pull the tail fo the magic loop tight.) [7]

Round 2: ch 1, 2 sc in the same st and in each st around; sl st to beginning sc st of

row 2. [14]
Round 3: ch 1, sc in the same st, 2 sc in next st, *sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, repeat
from * to end of round. [21]

Round 4: ch 1, sc in the same st, sc in next st, 2 sc in the next st, *sc in the next 2 sts,
2 sc in the next st, repeat from * to end of round. [28]

Round 5: ch 1, sc in the same st, sc in the next 2 sts, 2 sc in the next st, *sc in the
next 3sts, 2 sc in the next st, repeat from * to end of round. [35]

Round 6: ch 1, sc in the same st, sc in the next 3 sts, 2 sc in the next st, *sc in the
next 4 sts, 2 sc in the next st, repeat from * to end of round. Join with sl st to 1st st in
the round. Sl st into next 2 sts. Fasten off, leaving a 2” tail. [42]

Fringe: Cut 83 strands of yarn each 4”

long. Attach 2 strands of yarn to each st.
Insert hook from back of st to front, fold 2
strands of yarn in half, pull through st
with crochet hook. (But, do not pull the
strands all the way through.) Grab ahold
of the 4 tails with the crochet hook and
pull through the loops on the hook. You’ll
also take one strand of yarn and attach it
in the same st where you left the 2” tail.
Trim the tail ends of the fringe so that
they are even and the desired length.
