TOPIC: A JOB INTERVIEW
KNOWLEDGE: JOB SKILLS AND VOCABULARY OF THE UNIT
SKILLS: STUDENTS PERFORM A JOB INTERVIEW
INTERACTION: PAIR WORK
DATE OF PRESENTATION: SEPTEMBER ___________ 2022 (26th to 30th)

PROCEDURE:
• Students perform a job interview deciding a target company where they want to work.
• One student is the interviewer and the other performs the applicant role.
• Start the presentations since the applicant arrives to your office for the interview.
• Interviewer says the company background.
• Students can use some of the following questions in their interviews:
o Tell me about yourself.
o Walk me through your resume.
o How did you hear about this position?
o Why do you want to work at this company?
o Why do you want this job?
o Why should we hire you?
o What can you bring to the company?
o What are your greatest strengths?
• You also can create your own questionnaire for the interview.
• Bring all necessary to have an outstanding presentation: elements of the office, name & logo of
the company, correct outfit, CV, etc.
• At the end say if the candidate is hired or not, and why.
• The use of the translator on your project WILL AFFECT your evaluation, DO NOT USE IT!
• I RECOMMEND not to use any piece of paper or note for reading during the presentation because
it won’t be permitted, prepare yourself please
