Teacher’s Evaluation on the Textbook in The EFL classroom

My research plan about teacher’s evaluation on the textbook, the utilizing the textbook in
teaching EFL classroom. How about the teacher using English textbook in teaching English at online
learning . what the teacher used strategies to make an adaptation on the textbook by adding, replace ,
and omitting the materials . what the teachers recognize the advantages and disadvantages of text book
use. What does the teacher understand the content of the textbook in teaching EFL classroom.

The participants of the study will be English teacher with great achievement at one of the senior
high school. This descriptive study using qualitative method as the approach for the research method .
the technique in collecting data interview and observation. Later the finding revealed that the teacher
perceived positively or not towards the text book . the teacher considered that the textbook suited the
students’ need and teachers’ need .
