SPEAKING 10A

Nghi opens the door

Hà: Oh hi
Nhi: Hey. It’s good to see you
Nghi:Yeah me too. Where is Quỳnh?
Nhi: She’s upstairs
Hà: So what’s new. Is there anything interesting?
Nghi : Umm… I am going to Paris on my holiday for a month, that’s why
I have a huge concern.
Nhi: Just tell us. I think we can find the way to manage it
Nghi: Yep. My flat will be vacant for 30 days. That’s really insecure to
leave it empty. What should i do?
Hà: That’s worth to thinking about. Why don’t you let someone rent
your flat in that time, maybe you can also earn money.
Nhi: It is not easy like what you thought, most of people want to rent a
flat for a long time, one month is impossible. And how could we believe
in them, we do not even know how they are.
Nghi: Yes, I don’t think that would be a good idea. Actually, I do not like
the stranger live in my house. Could you give me some advices?
Nhi: I think you should make sure to lock all windows and doors
carefully, turn the electricity off before leaving and also check your
insurance policy.
Nghi: Yup but the empty house might be tempting to buglars, i’m really
anxious.
Quỳnh comes in
Quỳnh: What’s are you talking about?
Hà: She’ll go to Paris on her holiday for a month but she’s worried
about her empty flat.
Quỳnh:Paris? Great. However leaving the flat vacant for 1 month is too
long. Is there anything I can do to help you?
Nghi: My flat is on your way to the office. Would you mind checking it
sometimes.
Quỳnh: Sure. I think i can pop in your flat quite frequently to deter
break-ins.
Nghi: Really? That would be great.
Quỳnh: Yes. But i think you must also give the neighbors your contact
details so they can get in touch with you if they notice anything
unusual.
Nghi:Definitely
Hà: Everything seems okay. Hope you have a remarkable time in Paris.
Nghi: Of course. Thanks for your all supports, I appreciate it so much.
