Big Tech is the current technology I choose that I can say all of us is very familiar with it.

I picked this technology because it is extremely prevalent and practically everyone uses it every
day, especially during this time of pandemic, and we can access it at any time and any place via
means of internet. Also, it entertains our lives while still assisting us in other tasks that are
highly helpful at home, work, school, or anywhere and makes many things much more
accessible and convenient than before.

Big Tech refers to the large technological businesses that have disproportionate power,
such as Apple, Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Microsoft. Their goods and services are utilized
internationally and have been extensively depended upon by organizations and consumers
alike, raising privacy, safety, and antitrust concerns regarding their impact and activities, as well
as whether harsh controls should be considered. Big Tech (BT) corporations are playing an
increasingly important role in social, economic, and political life. They contribute favorably to
the generation of digital value by promoting new business opportunities and relationships.

Above all, I believe Heidegger's idea of "enframing" is well-suited to the Big Tech
paradigm. Technology, such as the one developed by Google and Facebook, translates human
experience (rather than effort) into a raw material that can be recorded, packaged, and sold
for, frequently without the consent of the individual (us). From this vantage point, humanity
appears to be a "standing reserve: a pasture that the AI overlords may seize, ring-fence, and
exploit at their will."
