Sir,

I am pleased to inform you that under Rastriya Ucchatar Siksha Abhiyan (RUSA}, the Department of
Engineering and Technological Studi~s, University of Kalyani is going to re-run a 3 months certificate course
on Disaster Management using Ham Radio for the year 2022. The aim of the course is to train the
participants for the examination conducted by the Department of Telecommunication, Govt. of India for
the award of Ham Radio License. The course also aims to make the participant aware about .the methods
of application of Ham Radio during the times of disaster.

Students of recognised educational institutions and employees (both contractual and permanent) of
Government or Government Sponsored organisation, with at least 60% marks in Physical' Science and
Mathematics at secondary level examination are eligible to apply for the course.
