Human and Other Species

To what extent does humans affect other animal species life?

Human now a days are progressing in science and technology to make their life
better, but unfortunately it affects the environment of and so the animals’ life
too. There are different ways the humans affect animals’ life. One way is
pollution, which affects the animals’ and caused many of them to die and extinct
things which causes pollution such as factories. The second way is destroying
their habitats by many different ways such as:-
1) Deforestation
2) Destroying lands to build factories
3) Over fishing
4) Digging underground for oils and foils
Humans can affect animals’ life by deforestation.
The term deforestation means clearing forests for building factories, buildings,
malls and compounds. When deforestation takes place in any forests, human
burn the trees and plants. This pollutes the atmosphere and also harms the
animals and birds. When a forest gets deforested lots of lots of animals loses their
life and their habitats. This leads animals to getting extinct.

Over fishing is another ways human affects animals and other species life.
Reefs are suffering directly and indirectly from the increasing pressure of mans’
resource exploitation. Overfishing is one driving pressure that has had devastating
pacts on coral reefs around the world. Specifically to the Great Barrier Reef,
overfishing has caused a shift in the reef ecosystem. Overfishing of certain species
near coral reefs can easily affect the reef’s ecological balance and biodiversity.
Destructive fishing techniques can direct physical impacts on reef environments
or create a deceit of certain species in the ecosystem.
Unauthorized fishing occurs in areas that are not supposed to be fishing causing
even further destruction to coral reefs. “Recreational fishing is also an important
activity with about 56000 privately registered boat fishing in the Great Barrier
Reef region”.
