Dear Magdalena and William,

We hope you are both keeping well. Wayne and Wensley continue to do well.

Wayne has just finished is first year of senior school. We can’t believe he will be in year 8 in
September. On the whole he has had a good year. He is well liked by teachers although he can get
distracted in some of his classes. He had mixed exam results, but generally did well considering it
was his first year. He continues to enjoy Spanish the most and he got a class prize for maths and the
year 7 prize for Design and Technology. He still struggles a bit because of his language disorder, but
it doesn’t stop him enjoying school.

Wayne continues to enjoy football, and has also joined a dram club on a Saturday. He is now at
scouts and he gets to try lots of new activities; camping, shooting, hiking, and archery.

Its his birthday soon and he is still deciding on what he would like to do with his friends and what to
put on his present list!

Wensley is 10 and just about to enter Year 6. This year we have really seen Wensley grow in
confidence and make lots of new friends. He has loves learning about the world and is fascinated by
how things work. He has a very practical mind and can problem solve very well. When we last wrote
we said he was struggling with his spellings but was trying his hardest. This has paid off enormously.
His spelling and reading have improved incredibly this year. He his re-reading all the Harry Potter
books.

Wensley has been playing badminton, rounders and dodgeball this year in after school clubs. He
continues with his swimming and his Taekwondo. He is now a green belt and will be grading soon for
the next one. He has taken part in a couple of Taekwondo tournaments, coming first in his first one
and third in his second one.

With best wishes
