Description

Rentery
Restoration of a person's voting rights after a felony conviction, removes
provisional upon failure to pay legal financial obligations. Secretary of State
compare registered voters to a list of persons ineligible to vote once a
month
Requires transition team to assist certain civil

Address laws that make LFO mandatory, gives courts the discretion to waive
12% interest rate on restitution

Allow person with conviction to vacate or who had certificicate restoration


to be a paid caregiver
Stop suspension of driver's liense for unpaid fines and fees for civil moving
violations,
Creats a process for person to request to obtain professional license DOL,
architecture, cosmetology, funeral directors, real estate broker, security
guards.

Early Release, Resentencing


More than 10 years since manufacturing, delivering, controlled substance,
comparable out-of-state conviction, violation controlled substances not be
added to offender score

Served at least 20 years. Makes requirements for up to 10 board members

Good time one-third of the sentence for violent offenses and weapons
enhancement portion of the sentence

Removes firearm or deadly weapon enhancements going forward, current
