The line graph shows the monthly income of business owners in 2014 in two cities in

America.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make
comparisons where relevant.

The line graph compares how much money business owners earned in 2014 in two different
locations in America. Overall it can be seen that Clanton had an upward trend, however,
Springfield had a downward (trend/one).
To begin with, the income for business owners in January stood at $1,000 for Clanton and
just over double that number for Springfield. Over the next few months, Clanton had a
gradual increase in February and then (leveled off/remained stable) at around $1,800 in
May, whereas Springfield fluctuated, but had the same number as Clanton in May.
However, over the next seven months Clanton rocketed up to its peak of $5,000 in August,
but then had a considerable decrease to finish at just under $3,000 in December. From May
onwards Springfield continued to drop slowly until its lowest point of just over $1,000 in
September, but then recovered to finish at around $2,000 in December, which was just
below the starting figure in January.

The bar graph compares the average monthly rainfall, measured in mm, and the line graph
compares the average monthly temperatures, measured in degrees centigrade in Thailand
and England over a one year period. Overall, it can be seen that Thailand has the highest
rain and is also the hottest country.

falling to a low point of just under 50mm in June. Following this, there was almost a
continuous increase every month to finish at a peak of approximately 150mm in December.
In January, the amount in Thailand was zero, however, there was a significant increase to
200mm in May, and then the amount fluctuated slightly, before peaking at 300mm in
September. Finally, there was a considerable fall back to zero in December.
Moving to the average monthly temperatures, Thailand’s and England’s monthly
temperature in January was 23 and 5 respectively, but it then continued to rise and Thailand
was the hottest in August with around 34, and England was the hottest in July at
approximately 17. For the remaining months, both countries had a gradual drop finishing at
30 and 7 in December.
