Good afternoon, all friends and tutors. Let me answer the question above

1. I think it is very important to understand formal and informal language. Besides

showing politeness, formal and informal English is used for a variety of purposes.
Formal English is typically used in official events, official emails, job application
emails, or job interviews to talk to people in important positions, such as: Official
events such as lecturers, regional leaders, heads of state, opening speeches, used
at organizational meetings and more. Formal English uses long and complex
sentence structures and may use vocabulary that is rarely used in everyday
conversation. Informal English is used to talk to close friends of the same age.
Informal English uses concise sentences, pays little attention to grammar, and uses
many vernaculars and abbreviations.

2.  A)      Sorry, but we can’t meet this deadline.

In the first sentence, use informal language, because the structure of the language is
simple, it does not use long and complex sentence structures, it uses abbreviated
sentences as it can not be can't.

        B)      We regret to inform you that we will not be able to meet this deadline.

In this second sentence using formal language. Because the sentence structure is complex
and in accordance with the correct spelling of the sentence.

3. Slang is the typical language of teenagers, the words or sentences are changed in
such a way that it can only be understood between people they are teenagers. Slang
is useful as an expression of familiarity with its users. The use of slang can also be
used because you want to show yourself as a member of a different social group
from other social groups. The presence of slang is considered natural because it is in
accordance with the development of the conscience of the youth. One form of slang
that is often used is an abbreviation of several words or syllables. As an example :
a. LOL = Laughing Out Loud
b. CMIIW = Correct Me If I Wrong

Meanwhile, everyday language is not too rigid like formal language, and also not too
relaxed like informal language. This language is quite safe to use in certain formal events
because it is neutral from all forms of emotion. As an example:
a. Your kinda crazy (Kinda = Kind Of)
b. They wanna see you (Wanna = Want to)
