ANDRES BONIFACIO

I choose Andres Bonifacio as my hero because he was really the first who initiated the revolt
against Spanish colonization but he was not well-celebrated as compared to Jose Rizal, who is
considered the National Hero of the Philippines. The Katipunan organization also was not solely
about revolution, but it provided aid to the society and education to the poor, as the poor
Filipinos were not allowed formal education during the Spanish colonization.
Andres Bonifacio is one of our beloved heroes who raise and led the fight for our freedom that
was taken away from the Filipinos by the Spaniards. He is more known as the founder and
Supremo or “supreme leader” of a group which revolted against the Spanish colonial rule called
Kataas-taasan, Kagalang-galangang Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan (KKK) or simply,
Katipunan.Being such an ideal hero, the life of Bonifacio is being told and being taught to serve
as an inspiration for others, especially for the youth.
Why did I choose andres bonifacio as my hero because andres bonifacio was a man of bravery.
Bonifacio was continued to figth for our country andres bonifacio showed as that are philippines
is for filipinos only and that no one can take our independence from us not even spain.and that’s
why we are free to celebrate Independence Day and this is why I admire him as my hero
