Nestle Philippines Incorporated is a well-known worldwide food manufacturing corporation that


provides instant coffee, milk, and ready-to-cook noodles on a huge scale.

It was founded in 1983 and is a member of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the
Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD).

It currently employs 497 people and is a member of organizations such as the Mindanao Association for
Quality, the Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Industries, and the Philippine Personnel Management
Association.

Health and Nutrition

Nestle is an advocate for good health and proper nutrition. It conducts feeding programs and medical
missions in the areas where it operates.

Rural Development in Philippines

Nestlé Philippines, Inc. has adopted an agronomy programme aimed at increasing the income of coffee
farmers since the 1960s.By improving the methods in coffee growing, farmers can get better and higher
quality yields, and help increase coffee supply in the country.

The company has been particularly active in terms of corporate social responsibility, emphasizing
agriculture, education and manpower development, community development, health and nutrition, and
environmental protection and preservation.

As a socially responsible corporation, Nestlé is committed to having a good impact on individuals and
families, communities, and the environment across the world.

The company focus on three pillars for building shared value in accordance with this commitment:
nutrition, water, and rural development.

Nestlé promotes nutrition education and physical activities among school children in rural areas through
the Nestlé Healthy Kids (NHK) program and the Knowledge Sharing (KNHK) program. We have also set
up purified drinking water tanks and sanitation facilities for girls in village schools to support the
continued education of children.
