HEAD AND SHOULDERS TOP

REVERSAL PATTERN
H&S is a top reversal pattern therefore it can only be traded when seen at the
top. The volume is playing crucial part in H&S. Symmetry is not mandatory but
the ‘head’ always has to be the highest.

INVERSE HEAD AND SHOULDERS


BOTTOM REVERSAL PATTERN
iH&S is a bottom reversal pattern therefore it can only be traded when seen at
the bottom. The volume profile is much different than on H&S and even more
crucial for this pattern to be valid.

COMPLEX HEAD AND SHOULDERS


PATTERNS
Volume profile and the rules in complex H&S reversal patterns are similar to
the basic ones. There are just different combinations such as two shoulders, or
two heads (double top) form.
