VOLUME CONFIRMATIONS

Volume is the number of contract sold and bought added together to give a
total on the specific time frame. It is a great way of confirming a trend.

OBV (ON BALANCE VOLUME) LEADING

PRICE
OBV is the cumulative total of volume (positive and negative). It is a leading
indicator (volume leads price). On this example price is going sideways and
OBV is going down – this signals money is coming out from asset.

OBV DIVERGENCES
OBV can be used for identifying divergences at tops and bottoms and it can
also give heads up while price is ranging which direction it is likely to break out.

PATTERNS ON OBV
It is possible to draw patterns on OBV and trade off of them. Daniel does not
do that though.

VISIBLE RANGE (VPVR)
The highlighted area is where the highest percentage of volume is (68% – or
as you set in settings). The low of the highlighted area is VAL, the high is VAH
and the POC is wherever the most volume was transacted.

ATTEMPTS TO BREAK A RANGE

is very important.

SESSION VOLUME S/R LEVELS

This tool is very good way of seeing the pivotal VAL, VAH and POC’s from
each trading session (24h for crypto). Each of these are used as S/R.

Naked POC is a level on the chart where there was the most transacted
volume. They are very strong support/resistance levels when hit the first time
(people get out on the break-even). They are the strongest on Weekly and
Monthly levels.
