The bar chart illustrates the portion of Britons, divided by age, donated money to charity between

1990 and 2010.

Overall, the percentage of British people giving money in 1990 apparently surpass than of people
in 2010, young people were decreasing their financial contribution until 2010. People over 36
years old are the most generous in their donations.

There are five ranges of ages that are being evaluated. While 17% of young people between 18-25
were giving money to charity in 1990, this percentage was considerably lower (around 7%) in
2010. Particularly, people over 65-year-olds in 1990 and 2010 displayed around the same
behaviour with a small increase in 3%.

In the other hand, the graph presents that the behaviour of percentage of people in the ranges 36-
50 and 51-65 are different, the first one increase (around 7%) in that period, meanwhile the
second one decrease (around 4%). Ranges 26-35 and 36-50 have the same conduct.
