➢ Angeline Tham

- As the founder and CEO of the ride-sharing app Angkas, which she holds a 99.9%
share in, Angeline Tham who was born in 1987 a Singaporean businesswoman
and entrepreneur located in Singapore. CEO Angeline Tham, however, was a
banker for JP Morgan until she started Angkas in 2016. Her own experience with
Manila's congested streets—getting caught in a six-hour gridlock—inspired her to
found Angkas. In the Philippines, motorbikes are associated with unchecked
customs, congested cities, and car accidents. Tham is working for the legal
recognition of motorcycles as public transportation vehicles in collaboration with
the Philippine Department of Transportation because of her advocacy for
motorcycle taxi safety and inclusive mobility.

➢ Phii Knight
- American businessman Philip Hampson Knight, who is worth $1 billion, was born
on February 24, 1938. As of July 23, 2020, Knight was listed by Forbes as the 24th
richest person in the world, with an estimated net worth of US$54.5 billion. He is
also the owner of the stop-motion film production company Laika. Knight is a co-
founder and chairman emeritus of Nike, Inc., having previously served as the
company's chairman and CEO. Knight holds degrees from Stanford Graduate
School of Business and the University of Oregon. At the University of Oregon, he
competed in track under the direction of Bill Bowerman, who would go on to
start Nike. After 52 years at the company, Nike founder and chairman Phil Knight
resigned in June 2016. At the University of Oregon, Knight competed in track, and
he and his former coach in the sport, Bill Bowerman, founded Nike. They invested
$500 each in 1964 to launch Blue Ribbon Sports, the predecessor to Nike.

development, manufacturing and worldwide marketing and sales of apparel,
footwear, accessories, equipment and services. Nike's "swoosh" emblem, today
regarded as one of the most expensive in the world, was purchased from Carolyn
Davidson, a graphic design student, in 1971 for $35. Knight reportedly
commented at the time, "I don't love it, but it will grow on me," according to
Nike's website. In September 1983, Davidson received an unknown amount of
Nike shares in appreciation for her contribution to the company's brand. When
the business went public, Knight allegedly awarded Davidson "a few hundred
shares" on the Oprah television program in April 2011.
